Bastet (sometimes Bast) is an Egyptian goddess whose depiction evolved over time from a lioness to a domestic cat to a cat-headed woman. She was associated with cats (which were sacred to her), fire, the home, and pregnant women. This design shows her in her cat form, about 3/4" long.
