This style of seated cat represents the ancient Egyptian goddess Bastet. These are either natural stone or something harder than mere plaster, and definitely not resin. There are two styles - with a fairly plain rectangular base, or with a more ornate oval base. The version shown with the thick block base is no longer available.
These are not mass-produced; there will be individual variations in the shape of the cat, as can be seen in the photos.
These carvings were imported directly from Egypt, and once the stock has been exhausted, it is unlikely that more will be obtained.
